CROSS THE BORDER, 4 DAYS

Day 1 SNOWMOBILE SAFARI YLLÄS – KANGOS, SWEDEN
Starting the engines and heading towards the border river between Finland and Sweden. Riding in the winter scenery towards the 400-year old village of Kangos situated by the bank of Lainiojoki River.

Day 2 SNOWMOBILE SAFARI KANGOS – JUKKASJÄRVI
Continuing the safari towards Jukkasjärvi, where the world famous Ice Hotel is situated. Driving through changing terrain, over rugged fells, frozen rivers and lakes. At the Ice Hotel you can find the Absolut IceBar, Ice Globe Theatre and Ice Church.

Day 3 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI JUKKASJÄRVI – LAINIO VILDMARK
Departure for the journey of the day towards Lainio Vildmark. Riding in the beautiful Lappish scenery, in deep snow, and if we're lucky, coming across some forest inhabitants such as the fox, reindeer or the snow-white willow grouse.

Day 4 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI LAINIO VILDMARK – YLLÄS
Starting the engines and heading towards the Finnish and Swedish border. The trail runs near the beautiful Pallas-Ounas fell area and National Park.

Day 1 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI ÄKÄSLOMPOLO – MUONIO
Starting the engines and driving up north towards Muonio, which is situated near by the beautiful Pallas-Ounastunturi National Park. Arriving at the Harriniva Holiday Centre.

Day 2 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI MUONIO - GALDOTIEVA
Trip continues towards the north-western fell area of Finnish Lapland. On the way, we will pass the original Sámi village of Hetta and continue north for about 40 km to reach our destination of Galdotieva.

Day 3 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI GALDOTIEVA - KILPISJÄRVI
Today we will reach one of the most beautiful areas in Lapland, the snow-white, nearly endless fell area, where we travel on the routes approx. 500 metres above sea level.

Day 4 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI GALDOTIEVA - KILPISJÄRVI
Firstly, in the morning the Three Nations Border is visited on snowmobiles, about 10 km from Kilpisjärvi village. Heading back south following the border river of Finland and Sweden.

Day 5 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI KILPISJÄRVI - KAARESUVANTO
During the day the safari follows the border between Finland and Sweden.

Day 6 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI JERISJÄRVI – LAINIO SNOW VILLAGE - ÄKÄSLOMPOLO

The safari continues over frozen lakes towards Ylläs mountain fell and Lainio Snow Village - a wintry kingdom of glistening white snow and crystal clear ice. The safari continues towards Ylläs. Weather permitting, driving to the top of Ylläs fell which opens up a great view over the whole of West Lapland.
